Why westerns are better than Star Wars

I once watched a western movie called Shane and it was about some bullshit with a cowboy in it and there were guns but very few lasers and then a kid at the end cried out, "Shane! God dammit! The fuck are you doing?"

Compare that to the moment Luke kills Dark Vadar in his Time Fighter then everybody boogies. See? You can’t. Because westerns are better.

We just need more good directors to stop doing Star Wars and start doing more westerns again, like in the 80s.

For example, David Lynch, who directed An Empire Strikes Back, never did a western, although some would argue Mulholland Drive was a soft reboot of Once Upon A Time In The West because of the lesbians.

One western idea I'd like to pitch would start with chubby cattle rustlers who ride into town and shoot their guns and yell "Baba booey!" and shit like that. I’m telling you we could probably get James Caan if he's available.
